Basic:

Sugar 50 g
Apples (medium size, maybe more) 5 pc
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Cinnamon (or to taste) 1 tsp
Wheat flour 100 g
Butter 50 g
Almond (can be replaced with walnuts) 30 g

How to make crumble? Measure and prepare all products according to the list. You can take apples of any degree of sweetness or acidity. Accordingly, add less or more sugar, focusing on the sweetness of the fruit. Instead of almonds, you can take any other nuts: hazelnuts, walnuts, peanuts, cashews, and so on. Or you can skip nuts altogether.

Wash the apples well and peel them. You don’t have to do this, but only if their skin is soft and thin. Cut the apples into pieces (no need to get too carried away).

Add lemon juice and cinnamon to the chopped apples. Lemon will save them from darkening, and cinnamon will highlight the taste.

Chop the nuts. Chop them with a knife or go over them with a rolling pin. Add chopped almonds to apples and stir. If the apples are very sour, you can add an extra spoonful of sugar, depending on your taste. Mix everything and the filling is ready.

Grease baking pans with butter. Place the apple filling in them. There should be a lot of it, as it will lose a little volume during baking.

Now prepare the flour crumble. To do this, add sugar to the flour and mix well. Add cold butter and rub it with flour with your hands until crumbly.

Sprinkle the resulting crumbs over the apple filling in the molds. Bake mini pies at 180 C for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
