Wheat flour 250 g

Vanilla sugar 2 tsp
Baking powder 2 tsp

How to make a simple and quick pie with cottage cheese in the oven? To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. The butter should be at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance. Large, selected eggs are needed. If the eggs are small, take 4 pieces. You can replace vanilla sugar with a pinch of vanillin or 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring.

If necessary, rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or punch it with a blender. There should be no lumps or hard grains left in the cottage cheese. The fattier and softer the cottage cheese, the tastier the pie will be. Cottage cheese in briquettes is also suitable.

In a bowl, combine soft butter at room temperature, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Beat everything with a mixer until fluffy for 2-3 minutes.

Pour 100 g of flour sifted with baking powder into the dough and mix the dough with a spatula.

Sift in the remaining flour and stir again until smooth. You will get a soft semi-thick dough. Please note that you may need more or less flour depending on the moisture content of the cottage cheese and the size of the eggs. Therefore, focus on the consistency of the dough.

Line a baking pan with parchment and grease with vegetable oil. Place the dough into it and smooth it out. I have a mold measuring 15 by 22 cm. If the mold is round, then a diameter of 22 cm is suitable. Place the pie in an oven preheated to 170°C for 45-50 minutes. Do not open the door while baking, otherwise the cake will fall.
