Classic American Apple Pie

Tender with a crispy crust, but capricious. However, it’s worth cooking! The pie is delicious, delicate filling with a crispy crust, but finicky to prepare. However, it is worth preparing, especially during the season of fruits and apples; gourmets will truly enjoy it! The pie can be prepared with any fruit, but apples are somehow more traditional. The dough is very tender, it doesn’t transfer well into the frying pan, it breaks and is capricious. Therefore, my advice is that if you can’t transfer the rolled out cake to the frying pan, make it from “patches”, small cakes. You just need to fasten it carefully so that there are no holes left and the filling does not leak out. You can do the same with the top crust, or you can show your imagination and make an interesting pie from intertwined stripes.

Step 11
I use a fork to secure the sides. I prefer to tuck the top crust under the bottom one, and the fork also leaves a pattern. We make a hole to allow excess steam to escape. grease with yolk and put in the oven preheated to 200 degrees, I baked the pie for about an hour.
