Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake a pie with frozen strawberries in the oven? Choose thick sour cream; instead of baking powder, you can use soda. Remove the butter from the refrigerator first so that it becomes soft. Thaw the strawberries well and remove excess juice or take fresh berries.

Step 2

Step 2
First prepare the pie dough. Whisk sour cream, sugar and soft butter in a bowl until smooth.

Step 3

Step 3
Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the bowl and mix well.

Step 4

Step 4
Gather the finished dough into a ball, being careful not to knead it, wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

Step 5

Step 5
Make the filling for the pie. Whisk eggs, sour cream, sugar, vanilla sugar and flour until smooth. The consistency should be liquid.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the dough on the bottom of the baking dish (I took a 22 cm mold) and smooth it out with your hands, making small sides.

Step 7

Step 7
Cut the defrosted strawberries into 4 pieces and place on top of the dough.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour the filling onto the strawberries and shake the mold a little or tap it on the table so that the filling is well distributed between the berries. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 30-50 minutes.

Step 9

Step 9
Decorate the finished pie to your taste and serve cooled, it will be tastier. Bon appetit!
