Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Ground black pepper to taste
Butter (for greasing the baking tray) 10 g
Green onions 30 g
Puff pastry (without yeast) 250 g
Sausages 4 pc
Sesame 2 tbsp
Sunflower oil 2 tbsp
Flour (for dusting the baking sheet) 2 tbsp

Recipe instructions

After defrosting, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle, not very thin. Use a sharp knife to make slits, not reaching the top and bottom edges by a centimeter. Boil the sausages for 5 minutes, after piercing them in several places so as not to deform, drain the water, let them cool, then peel and cut lengthwise into 2 equal parts.

Grease a baking sheet with butter, sprinkle flour on top and shake to distribute it evenly, pour out the remaining flour (you can use parchment paper — as you like). Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet. Pass each half of the sausage through the dough in a checkerboard pattern, that is, alternating the sausage under the dough, then onto the dough, then again under the dough, onto the dough, and so on.

Grease the resulting “mat” with sunflower oil, and then sprinkle with ground black pepper and sesame seeds. Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes. After cooking, sprinkle with chopped green onions.
