Crispy Chebupels: A Delicious Family Dinner!

Crispy and delicious rosy chebupels are a great dinner for the family! Delight your loved ones with deep-fried homemade chebupels. Donʼt know what it is? Something between fried dumplings and pasties. Such little chebureks :) Very tasty, I must say. And it’s easy to cook, shall we try it?

Ingredients (12 portions)

For dough:

Olive oil 4 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Wheat flour 400 g
Water 250 ml

For filling:

Salt 1 tsp
Ground black pepper to taste
Milk 100 ml
Beef 250 g
Bulb onions 200 g
Pork 250 g

For frying:

Vegetable oil 150 ml

Sift 250 grams of flour, add salt and stir. Pour boiling water over the mixture, stir well and let cool slightly. Pour in olive oil, stir again. Sift the remaining flour, add it little by little, kneading the dough. Knead it until it stops sticking to your hands. Form it into a ball, wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Twist the pork and beef. Itʼs better to do this 2 times. Peel and finely chop the onion, add it to the minced meat. Pour in the milk, add salt and ground black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.

Roll out the dough into a thin layer (about 2 mm thick). Using a round cutter, cut out small circles from the dough. You can just use a glass.

Place 1 tsp on each circle. with the top of the filling, fold the circle in half, pinching the edges.

Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry the chebupels over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side. Bon appetit!
