Easy Ricotta and Pear Pie

The most delicate pastries with incredible taste — just melts in your mouth! Pie with ricotta and pear is very similar to cottage cheese casserole, except for the sourness inherent in cottage cheese — it is not present in the pie. You can use any fruit or berries as a filling, or you can bake the pie just like that, without anything.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make ricotta and pear pie in the oven? Prepare your food. Take high-quality, natural ricotta and butter, without vegetable fats — the taste of the pie will depend on this. You can adjust the amount of sugar depending on your taste and fruit and berry component. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.

Step 2

Step 2
Beat the eggs into a bowl, add sugar to them. I always add a pinch of salt to any baked goods — it acts as a flavor enhancer, making it brighter and more balanced. Beat the eggs and sugar with a hand whisk. It is not necessary to use a mixer, as the cake will not rise much — there are too many wet and fatty ingredients.

Step 3

Step 3
Lightly melt the butter in the microwave. Not to a liquid state, but to a soft state. This will literally take 10 seconds. Or you can simply take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance (2 hours before) so that it becomes very soft.

Step 4

Step 4
Add soft butter to the beaten eggs, followed by the ricotta.

Step 5

Step 5
Mix the ingredients with a whisk until smooth.

Step 6

Step 6
Sift flour into them, add baking powder. Sifting is an important step; by doing this you will not only remove possible debris from the flour, but also saturate it with air, which will significantly improve the quality of baking. Read about all the nuances of working with baking powder in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 7

Step 7
Stir flour into dough. It will have the consistency of thick sour cream. Depending on the quality of flour, you may need a little more or a little less. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 8

Step 8
Take a suitable baking dish and grease it with butter. By the way, the remaining butter from the bowl in which you melted it is perfect. Pour the dough into the mold and smooth the top. I have a mold measuring 23*14*6 cm. Read about how to choose a baking dish in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 9

Step 9
Wash the pears, cut them in half and remove the core and seeds. Cut the halves into slices.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the sliced pears on top of the pie, pressing them lightly into the dough. The installation method can be any, choose for yourself.

Step 11

Step 11
Bake the pie in the oven preheated to 180°C for 30 to 45 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe. Focus on the appearance of the pie — it should turn golden. My pie took 45 minutes to bake, I have a slow oven.

Step 12

Step 12
Cool the finished rikotnik with pear completely and only then serve. Bon appetit!
