Ingredients (18 portions)

Basic:

Vegetable oil 100 ml

For dough:

Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Wheat flour 3 cup
Water 1 cup
Vegetable oil 4 tbsp

For filling:

Garlic 2 clove
Tomatoes 5 pc
Salt to taste
Greenery to taste
Brynza 200 g

1. Cut the tomatoes into slices. 2. Mash the cheese with a fork, if it’s cottage cheese, add salt, squeeze the garlic through a garlic press, add chopped herbs and mix.

3. Stir sugar and salt in water (boiling water), add vegetable oil. Add flour. Knead into a soft dough. 4. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

5. Roll out half the dough into a large thin layer.

6. Place tomato slices on the dough no closer than 3 cm from each other.

7. Place the filling on the tomato.

8. Roll out the second layer of dough and cover it with the first one with the filling.

9. Using a glass of a suitable diameter, cut out pies along the contours of each tomato circle, do the same with all the pies.

10. Fry the pies in a large amount of hot vegetable oil on both sides. Place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
