Consists of two layers: the bottom one is shortcrust pastry, the top one is a delicate cream mousse with orange flavor. Once cooked, the number of orange bars decreases instantly!

For dough:

Butter 85 g
Powdered sugar 25 g
Salt to taste
Wheat flour 110 g

For filling:

Wheat flour 35 g
Eggs 2 pc
Sugar 80 g
Orange juice 70 ml
Orange zest 1 tbsp

For sprinkling:

Powdered sugar to taste

Grind the softened butter with powdered sugar.

Knead the soft dough and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Spread the chilled dough evenly into a layer in a mold with high sides. Bake in preheated to 180 degrees. oven for 15-20 minutes.

While the cake is baking, letʼs start filling. For this we need one large orange. We remove the zest from it and squeeze out the juice.

Beat eggs with sugar and flour until smooth.

Add orange juice and zest, beat until foamy.

Let the finished cake cool slightly (5-10 minutes).

Then pour the filling onto the crust. Place in the oven at 170 degrees. for about 20-25 minutes.
