Egg-Enriched Semolina Cake

Simple, inexpensive, very tasty! For family tea. Manna in water with eggs has added to my collection of baked goods with semolina. The pie turned out crumbly and filling. It goes great with condensed milk, your favorite jam, chocolate sauce or jam. Fantasize and treat your loved ones!

Ingredients (8 portions)

Basic:

Sugar 200 g
Wheat flour 130 g
Water (hot) 250 ml
Eggs 2 pc
Vegetable oil 100 ml
Baking powder 1 tbsp
Semolina 180 g
Vanilla sugar 1 tbsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make manna in water with eggs? Prepare the necessary products.

Step 2

Step 2
Combine semolina and sugar. Pour hot water over the mixture, stir and leave for 30 minutes.

Step 3

Step 3
Sift the flour, mix 2/3 with baking powder and vanilla sugar. If you use vanillin instead of vanilla sugar, you will need it literally at the tip of a knife (be sure to read the instructions on the package indicating the dosage).

Step 4

Step 4
Add eggs to the swollen and slightly cooled semolina.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour in vegetable oil.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix with a whisk until smooth.

Step 7

Step 7
Add flour to the egg-semolina mixture in parts. First, add 2/3 of the flour mixed with baking powder and vanilla sugar in several additions. Stir until smooth. And at the end add the sifted third of the flour. Why do you need to add flour in parts? Flour is different and you may need more or less, so adjust the amount according to consistency — the dough should be like not very liquid sour cream.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour the dough into a baking dish greased and sprinkled with semolina.

Step 9

Step 9
To ensure that the oven has time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking). bake for about 30 minutes at 180°C. Time and temperature are approximate, use your oven as a guide. Cool the finished manna, remove from the mold and cut into pieces.
