Soft and fragrant pies with carrot filling. Carrot pies are cooked in the oven. The dough can be kneaded with both dry and compressed yeast. To prepare the filling you will need raw carrots, which are pre-stewed with added sugar. The sweetness of the filling can be adjusted to suit personal taste. Pies with carrot filling can be served with black tea, apple juice or compote.

Dough:

Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Wheat flour 3 cup
Butter 80 g
Water 50 ml
Chicken eggs 1 pc
Kefir 150 ml
Dry yeast 1 tsp

Filling:

Sugar 1 tbsp
Water 3 tbsp
Carrot 1 pc
Chicken eggs 1 pc

Prepare all products.

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

Pour yeast into kefir and stir.

Add flour and knead the dough. Leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
