Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake a crumbly pie with cottage cheese in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take natural, high-quality cottage cheese. Read about how to choose cottage cheese in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

Step 2

Step 2
Take a baking dish 13*20 and 5 centimeters high, cover it with baking paper. To do this, cut a rectangle larger than the shape. Place the shape in the middle of the paper and trace the bottom with a pencil. Cut the corners diagonally to the edges of the outlined shape. You can choose the right parchment paper and baking dish by reading the separate articles on the links at the end of the recipe.

Step 3

Step 3
Remove the mold and fold the edges in pairs along the intended bottom. First in length, then in width.

Step 4

Step 4
Grease the mold with vegetable oil so that the paper does not fidget in it. Insert the paper form, lift and trim the edges.

Step 5

Step 5
Place soft butter in a bowl and add sugar. Beat everything at high speed with a mixer until fluffy.

Step 6

Step 6
Combine flour with baking powder and mix. Sift it into a bowl with whipped butter. Read about all the nuances of working with baking powder in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 7

Step 7
Using a mixer, at the lowest speed, mix everything until fine crumbs. Donʼt try to do this manually. From the warmth of your hands, the butter begins to melt and instead of fine crumbs you will get lumps, and this is no longer the right structure for such a pie. If fine crumbs are not obtained, add flour little by little until the desired structure is achieved.

Step 8

Step 8
Wash the eggs under running warm water and soda and dry. Place cottage cheese, sugar and eggs in a deep bowl. Instead of cottage cheese, you can use curd mass, then the filling will be even more tender. You can also first beat the cottage cheese with a blender to a paste-like mass or rub it through a sieve.

Step 9

Step 9
Beat everything until smooth. The color of the curd mass depends on the yolks. I have homemade eggs, so it turned out a beautiful yellow color.

Step 10

Step 10
Pour 2/3 of the flour crumbs into the pan and smooth without compacting.

Step 11

Step 11
Pour the curd and egg mixture on top.

Step 12

Step 12
Cover the top of the curd mass with the remaining flour crumbs in an even layer.

Step 13

Step 13
Place the pie pan in the hot oven and bake for 25-35 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe. The top should be golden and the surface of the cake should be firm and not jiggle when touched.

Step 14

Step 14
Remove the cake from the oven and cool completely in the pan. Then pull the ends of the pan and remove the cake. Remove the paper and place the pie on a plate.

Step 15

Step 15
Cut the pie into portions and serve with milk, tea or coffee.

Step 16

Step 16
Bon appetit!
