Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make beef with potatoes, tomatoes and cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. To make the meat soft and juicy, it is better to use the pulp of fresh beef or veal. Frozen meat must first be defrosted on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. During the cutting and cooking process, soft fruits will spread and spoil the appearance of the dish. Any cheese will do, I have Russian cheese.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the beef, dry it well and cut into slices about 1 cm thick. Beat each slice of beef with a hammer. To prevent the juice from splashing in different directions, you can cover the meat with cling film or a plastic bag. Salt, pepper and sprinkle the meat with paprika.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the potatoes and cut into slices. Lightly salt and pepper the potatoes, sprinkle with paprika and stir.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into slices or circles. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm.

Step 5

Step 5
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 6

Step 6
Turn the oven on 180 degrees. Place the potatoes in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil (mine is 27 cm in diameter).

Step 7

Step 7
Spread the beef on top in a single layer. Lubricate the meat with mayonnaise.

Step 8

Step 8
Place tomato slices on top.

Step 9

Step 9
Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Place the mold in an oven preheated to 180°C for 40-45 minutes until ready. The exact time depends on the features of your oven. If the cheese has begun to brown and the meat and potatoes are not yet ready, cover the pan with foil. Be careful not to let the foil touch the cheese layer, otherwise all the cheese will stick to the foil.

Step 10

Step 10
Garnish the finished beef with potatoes, tomatoes and cheese with fresh herbs and serve. Bon appetit!
