Oven-Baked Rabbit with Potatoes in Sour Cream Marinade

Salt to taste
Potato 800 g
Sour cream 100 g
Carrot 1 pc
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
Dry spices to taste
Rabbit 900 g
Adjika 2 tbsp

How to bake a rabbit with potatoes in the oven in a baking sleeve? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for this. Chop the rabbit carcass into pieces. Peel the potatoes and carrots and rinse them in running water to remove any dirt.

Rinse the pieces of rabbit meat in running water. then pat dry with paper towel to remove excess moisture.

In a large bowl, mix sour cream and adjika. Add some salt and spices to it. I use suneli hops and ground black pepper as spices. Mix everything and coat the rabbit meat with the resulting mixture. Leave to sit for an hour to marinate the meat.

In another bowl, cut the potatoes into large pieces and add the carrots, cut into slices. Drizzle with a small amount of vegetable oil. Add a little salt and spices to your taste. Stir.

Prepare a baking sleeve. Tie it on one side. Place potatoes and carrots in it. Then add the rabbit pieces along with the marinade. Tie the sleeve on the other side. Make 2-4 punctures on top with a knife so that excess steam can escape.

Place the baking sleeve with all its contents on a baking sheet or baking dish and place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, bake for about 1.5 hours. The time is approximate, use your oven as a guide.
