Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make chicken stuffed with potatoes in the oven in a sleeve? Ingredients for preparing stuffed chicken. Peel and wash the vegetables, wash the chicken carcass, and dry with paper towels. Instead of sour cream, you can use mayonnaise.

Step 2

Step 2
Add adjika or ketchup, salt, and chicken spices to a bowl with sour cream. Stir the sauce until smooth.

Step 3

Step 3
Coat the chicken carcass generously with sauce. The remainder can be used to grease the inside of the chicken carcass. Marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes to infuse it with the flavor of the spices.

Step 4

Step 4
Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into small cubes and the onion into small slices.

Step 5

Step 5
In a deep bowl, mix onions, potatoes, thyme, salt.

Step 6

Step 6
Stuff the chicken carcass tightly with minced meat.

Step 7

Step 7
Sew with white food thread or secure the edges of the cut with toothpicks.

Step 8

Step 8
Connect the edge of the baking sleeve on one side with a special clip or tie it with thread. Place the stuffed chicken inside, pour in the remaining sauce, and close the sleeve on the other side. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake at 200 degrees for 1.5 — 2 hours until done. When the sleeve is inflated with a bubble, prick it at the top with a needle in several places and put the baking sheet back in the oven. Be careful, hot steam!

Step 9

Step 9
20 minutes before the end of cooking the chicken, cut the sleeve at the top and carefully pull it apart so that the liquid does not leak out. This will allow the chicken to brown nicely. Bake the chicken until fully cooked. Keep in mind that everyoneʼs oven is different. Cooking temperatures and times may differ from those indicated in the recipe. This is what the finished chicken looks like.

Step 10

Step 10
Remove toothpicks. Place the chicken on a plate, garnish with vegetables and herbs to your liking. Help yourself! Bon appetit!
