Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake chicken on a baking sheet in the oven with potatoes? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use any parts of the chicken. Instead of dry garlic, use fresh garlic and choose a different set of herbs and spices to suit your taste. If necessary, defrost the chicken in advance.

Step 2

Step 2
If you have a whole chicken, cut it into portions. I have finished drumsticks and thighs. Clean the chicken, cut off all excess, rinse and dry with napkins.

Step 3

Step 3
Place the chicken in a bowl and add: garlic, half the Italian herbs, ground black pepper and salt. Mix everything thoroughly and leave to marinate for 1 hour.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the potatoes, dry, peel and cut into large slices.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the chopped potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Sprinkle the remaining Italian herbs over the potatoes and add salt and pepper. Pour in vegetable oil and stir.

Step 6

Step 6
Place chicken pieces between the potato wedges in the pan. Potatoes and chicken should be packed tightly together.

Step 7

Step 7
Sprinkle ground paprika evenly over the top of the potatoes and chicken. Bake the dish for about 50 minutes at 180°C, periodically pouring juice from the bottom of the pan over it. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.
