Oven-Baked Potatoes with Onions

Fragrant fried potatoes cooked with onions in the oven. Potatoes cook easier in the oven and are more aromatic and tastier than on the stove in a frying pan. Potatoes with onions are baked in vegetable oil longer than if fried in a frying pan on the stove. When baking in the oven, stir the potatoes only once.

Salt 1 tsp
Potato 1 kg
Bulb onions 200 g
Vegetable oil 4 tbsp
Dry spices 1 tsp

For 4 servings of baked potatoes, peel and wash 5 medium potatoes and a couple of medium onions, mix a teaspoon of salt and spices, and we also need 4 tbsp. spoons of vegetable oil.

Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces, as if for soup.

Cut the onion into not very thin, about 5 mm thick quarter rings.

Place the chopped potatoes and onions in a baking dish, add a mixture of salt and spices.

Drizzle the potatoes and onions with vegetable oil.

Now thoroughly mix the potatoes and onions with vegetable oil, salt and spices with your hands. Meanwhile, turn on the oven and preheat it to 200 degrees.

After 40 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and carefully mix the potatoes and onions with a spoon from bottom to top.
