Ground black pepper to taste

How to bake potatoes in the oven? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. It is preferable to choose potato tubers of the same size. You can replace fresh rosemary with dry herbs. Instead of olive oil, you can use any vegetable oil of your choice. You can also use special potato seasoning mixtures. Replace ground black pepper with paprika.

Wash the potatoes, peel and rinse again in running water. If the potatoes are large, cut them in half, leaving small tubers whole.

Place the peeled potatoes in a saucepan, fill them with water so that it covers them completely. Add a pinch of salt and put on fire. Bring the water to a boil and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. We donʼt need to boil the potatoes until tender, keep that in mind.

Place the pan with potatoes in an oven preheated to 190°C for about 20-30 minutes. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven. Remove the partially baked potatoes from the oven and lightly press the tubers with a potato masher.
