Hearty Lamb and Vegetable Stew

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Garlic 3 clove
Tomatoes 2 pc
Salt to taste
Water 450 ml
Potato 500 g
Zucchini 1 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Vegetable oil 30 g
Dry spices to taste
bell pepper 0.5 pc
Mutton 800 g

How to stew lamb with vegetables in a cauldron? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Lamb meat can be taken on the bone, like mine. Or you can just take the pulp. Chop the lamb into pieces in advance. The set of vegetables can be very diverse. You can remove some vegetables and add something else instead. When choosing vegetables, be guided by your taste.

Place the cauldron on the fire, pour vegetable oil into it and heat it until hot! Place the prepared pieces of lamb into the cauldron. When frying, some juice will appear from the meat. Cook the meat in its own juices, covered, for 20-30 minutes. Remember to stir everything periodically so that it cooks more evenly.

The meat will completely change color and the amount of juice will decrease significantly.

Peel onions and carrots and rinse to remove dirt. Wash the bell pepper and remove the core. Roughly chop onions, carrots and peppers.

Place the vegetables in the cauldron with the meat. Stir. Simmer everything together for 2-3 minutes.

Cut the peeled potatoes into large pieces and place in a cauldron. Add salt and spices to taste. For spices I use ground pepper and a little paprika. Add some hot water. Adjust the amount of water to your taste. I like there to be a lot of liquid. Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

Cut fresh zucchini into large pieces. Chop the tomatoes.

Add zucchini and tomatoes to the cauldron. Pass a few cloves of garlic through a press. Stir and simmer everything together for another 10 minutes. During this time, the zucchini will have time to cook.
