Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make pork stew with potatoes and vegetables? Prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. If you have frozen meat, you should first remove it from the freezer and completely defrost it. Rinse the pork and dry it with paper towels.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel potatoes, carrots and onions. Wash the vegetables. Cut the meat into equal small pieces.

Step 3

Step 3
Chop the onion and carrot as desired. I cut the onion into cubes and the carrots into thin slices. Potatoes can be cut into slices or small squares.

Step 4

Step 4
Heat a small amount of refined vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the pork pieces over high heat until half cooked. Donʼt forget to stir the meat so it doesnʼt burn.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat the remaining oil in a cauldron or saucepan with a thick bottom and edges. Fry the onions and carrots. Cook for about five minutes until the onions and carrots are golden brown.

Step 6

Step 6
Add tomato sauce and fried pork. Instead of tomato sauce, you can use ketchup or tomatoes in their own juice. Cook everything together for another five minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the potatoes in a cauldron, pour in about half a liter of water and salt to taste. Adjust the amount of water to taste. If you want the stew to be a thick soup, use a little more liquid. Use your favorite spices at this stage. Stir everything, after boiling, reduce the heat to moderate. Cover the stew with a lid and simmer until all ingredients are fully cooked. This will take 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 8

Step 8
Five minutes before the end of cooking, add bay leaf and ground pepper to the stew. Let the finished dish sit for a while and serve.

Step 9

Step 9
Offer chopped garlic and herbs to everyone on a plate. Very tasty with fresh vegetables and salads.
