Salt to taste
Water 2.5 l
Potato 3 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Bulb onions 1 pc
Vegetable oil 20 g
Dry spices to taste

How to make classic pea soup with chicken? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Take split peas — they do not require long soaking (this will be indicated on the package). You can use any part of the chicken to make the soup. Peel and rinse the potatoes in advance.

Rinse the chicken in running water. Then place in a saucepan, fill with clean water and put on fire. Bring to a boil. When boiling, foam will appear — it must be removed. After removing the foam, add the washed peas to the pan and cook them together with the chicken for about 40 minutes.

Cut the peeled potatoes into pieces and place in a saucepan with soup. Leave to cook for another 15-20 minutes.

Peel the onions and carrots and rinse. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots.

Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the chopped vegetables for 3-5 minutes over low heat.

Add the prepared roast to the soup. Add salt and spices to taste. I add a little ground pepper as a spice.
