Easy and Quick Meatball Soup for Kids

Ingredients (6 portions)

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Salt to taste
Water 2 l
Rice 0.5 cup
Eggs 1 pc
Potato 3 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Vegetable oil (for frying) 20 g
Dry spices to taste
Minced meat 350 g

How to cook soup with meatballs? Prepare your food. Wash the vegetables and dry them. Rinse the required amount of rice several times in cold water. Then place the washed rice in boiling water and cook until half cooked for 5-7 minutes. Then drain the rice in a colander to drain all the water.

In a spacious bowl, combine minced meat, rice, and egg. Sprinkle with a little salt and spices. Mix everything well with your hands until smooth.

With wet hands, form meatballs slightly larger than a walnut.

Bring water to a boil in a soup pot. Place all the meatballs into boiling water. Do this very carefully so as not to get burned by the boiling splashes. Bring everything to a boil and leave to simmer over medium heat.

Peel the potatoes and wash them. Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces and add to the pan with the meatballs.

Separately peel the onions and carrots. Rinse them. Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a medium grater.

In a hot frying pan, with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil, fry the chopped onions and carrots for 3-4 minutes. Stir the contents of the pan with a spatula to prevent burning.

Add the roast to the soup and boil everything together for about 10 minutes. Add salt to taste. You can add bay leaf for flavor. Pour the finished soup into bowls and serve. Add a serving of soup with a small amount of chopped herbs. Bon appetit!
