Bay leaf 1 pc
Beef 500 g
Carrot 1 pc

How to cook classic cabbage soup from fresh cabbage with beef? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. For cooking, you can take a piece of lean meat or meat on the bone. Rinse the meat thoroughly to remove small bones. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them to remove dirt.

Pour water over the meat, put it on the fire and bring to a boil. When boiling, foam will appear — it must be skimmed off. Cook the meat until soft for 1.5-2 hours. Then cut the meat into pieces and return it back to the strained broth.

Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces. Shred the cabbage. Place the potatoes and cabbage in the pan with the meat. Leave to cook for 15-20 minutes.

Peel and chop the onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and fry the onions and carrots for 2-3 minutes.

Cut the tomato into small cubes. Add chopped tomatoes and ketchup to the pan. An excellent option would be ketchup for grilling and shish kebab. It will give the dish a pleasant aroma. Fry everything together for another 3-5 minutes. During this time, the tomatoes will become softer.
