How to stew cabbage with minced meat in a slow cooker? Prepare your food. You can take ready-made minced meat or make it yourself at home. It can be made from any meat or poultry; mine is a mixture of beef and pork. It made the dish fattier and juicier. If you want lunch to be less calorie, then take minced chicken. Choose a set of spices according to your taste, I use black and allspice pepper, and bay leaf.

Finely chop the white cabbage. I advise you to mash it a little with your hands, so the cabbage will become softer and release its juice faster.

Peel the onion and chop finely. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add onion. Fry the onion over low heat for a couple of minutes, then add the minced meat to it and mix it well with the onion. Fry everything together for a few minutes until the minced meat changes color. Stir it periodically. You can also do the frying process in the multicooker itself, if you have such a function in it.

Place the minced meat and onions in the multicooker bowl. Send the chopped cabbage there too. Add spices to taste: salt, ground black pepper, you can throw in a couple of allspice peas and bay leaves, they will not spoil the dish, but will give a pleasant aftertaste. It is better to do this if you use minced beef and pork; if you use minced chicken, then it is better not to add spices such as sweet peas and bay leaves. Mix cabbage and meat.

Fill the food with water until it just barely reaches the top of the cabbage with minced meat. Close the multicooker with a lid and turn on the “stew” program for 2 hours. During this time, look into the slow cooker a couple of times and stir the cabbage mixture. After the beep, turn off the multicooker. The dish is ready, you can serve it immediately. Bon appetit!
