How to stew potatoes and cabbage in a saucepan? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Instead of tomato sauce, you can use sautéed tomatoes or tomato paste.

Peel the onions, carrots and garlic. Garlic can be omitted from the recipe at your discretion. Rinse vegetables in cold water.

Peel the potatoes and remove the outer hard leaves from the cabbage. Wash the potatoes and cabbage. Cut the potatoes into small cubes or cubes, and chop the cabbage into thin strips.

Cut the carrots into thin slices or grate them on a grater with large teeth. Chop the onion into half rings or quarter rings. Heat vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed saucepan. Mix everything, pour in about 100 ml more. warm water and simmer covered until all ingredients are ready. This will take you from 15 to 25 minutes.
