Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Salt to taste
Rice 0.5 cup
Tomato paste 1 tbsp
Carrot 1 pc
Vegetable oil 20 g
Pork 300 g
Dry spices to taste
Cabbage 300 g

How to stew cabbage with rice and meat in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Pork can be used from any part. I take meat with a little lard. Take long-grain rice — it will not be overcooked.

Peel the onions and carrots and rinse them in running water to remove any dirt. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan, add vegetables and fry them for 1-2 minutes. Then add some tomato paste to the pan. Stir.

Cut the pork into small pieces.

Place the chopped meat in the pan with the vegetables. Stir and fry everything together for 10-12 minutes. Donʼt forget to stir so the meat doesnʼt start to burn. Add a little salt and spices to taste.

While the meat is roasting, prepare the rice and cabbage. Rinse the rice several times in cold water. Then drain all the water from it. Shred the cabbage.

Add cabbage and a little water to the meat in the pan. Simmer covered for 10 minutes.

Then add the washed rice. Add a little more water and leave to simmer for another 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked. The rice will absorb all the water and become soft. Control the amount of water. If the rice is still hard and there is no more water, add a little more.
