Hearty Stewed Meat and Vegetables Hotpot

An appetizing, satisfying dish for lunch or dinner! Stewed meat with vegetables is good on its own without any side dish. The meat is soaked in vegetable juice and turns out very juicy. When stewing, you can add a little more water and get both the first and second courses in one!

Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Tomatoes 150 g
Salt to taste
Water 300 ml
Broccoli 150 g
Carrot 1 pc
Vegetable oil (for frying) 20 g
Pork 700 g
Dry spices to taste
bell pepper 0.5 pc

How to make hotpot? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Cut the meat into small pieces, approximately the same size.

Fry the chopped meat in a hot frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. The meat should become slightly golden brown.

While the meat is roasting, prepare the onions. Peel it and chop it.

Add chopped onion to the pan with the fried meat. Stir and fry everything together for 2-3 minutes.

Peel and rinse the carrots. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and add to the pan. Add a little salt and spices to taste. Pour in a little water, cover with a lid and simmer everything together over medium heat for 15 minutes.

While the meat is stewing, wash the tomatoes and bell peppers. Cut them into medium sized pieces.

Add chopped tomatoes and peppers to the pan. Add the frozen broccoli and simmer, covered, all together for another 10-15 minutes. If the water has boiled away, add a little more hot water. The finished dish is very tasty and aromatic. When serving, you can sprinkle with some fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
