Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake pike perch in sour cream in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Clean the pike perch from scales, remove the entrails and gills. Rinse the fish carcass well in running water and then dry it with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. My sour cream is 15% fat.

Step 2

Step 2
Make several cuts on the fish at a short distance from each other. Sprinkle the fish inside and out with lemon juice. Sprinkle fish on all sides with salt and fish spices. Rub them into the fish. Then coat the pike perch with vegetable oil. This is necessary so that the fish does not dry out during baking. The oil will create a thin film over the entire surface. Place the prepared fish on a sheet of foil.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and cut into half rings. Place the chopped onion under the fish, on the sides around it and maybe a little inside.

Step 4

Step 4
Generously coat the outside of the fish carcass with sour cream.

Step 5

Step 5
Fold the foil around the fish into a boat shape and place in a baking dish. A metal form would be an ideal option.

Step 6

Step 6
Bake the fish in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 35-40 minutes. When baking, use your oven as a guide. The finished fish will brown and become an appetizing golden color. Remove it from the oven and place it on a plate along with foil.

Step 7

Step 7
Serve pike perch baked in sour cream hot! Bon appetit!
