Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to cook semolina porridge with milk in a slow cooker? Quite fast and simple. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Different recipes contain different ratios of semolina and milk. This directly depends on the thickness of the porridge that you need. According to this recipe, the porridge will be liquid. If you want the porridge to be thicker, you can add 3-5 tbsp. l. semolina.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour milk into the multicooker bowl. Add semolina. Add salt and sugar to taste and stir with a special multi-cooker spatula or silicone spatula. Adjust the amount of salt and sugar to your taste. I added a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp. l. Sahara. Some recipes say that you need to pre-lubricate the bowl with butter so that the porridge does not stick. I didn’t lubricate it with anything and the porridge didn’t stick to me.

Step 3

Step 3
To prevent milk from escaping, place a steamer container on top. Whether the milk rises strongly or not directly depends on the temperature at which the porridge is cooked.

Step 4

Step 4
Close the lid of the device and set it to “Milk porridge” mode for 10 minutes. If your model does not have such a mode, the usual “Cooking” mode will do, but set the temperature to 90-95°C. The exact time depends on the brand of your multicooker and also on the temperature. My default temperature in this mode is 90°C. Therefore there is no violent boiling. During cooking, you can stir the porridge periodically.

Step 5

Step 5
At the end of the cooking time, turn off the multicooker. Look at the consistency. If you need thicker porridge, leave the multicooker on heat for 10-15 minutes. Add butter to the finished porridge and stir.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the porridge on a plate and serve immediately. Bon appetit!
