How to make strawberry wine from strawberries at home? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Strawberries for wine must be selected that are ripe and without signs of rot. There is no need to wash the berries or remove the stems.

Mash all the berries with your hands into a suitable fermentation container. The selected container should be approximately 3/4 full to prevent the wort from overflowing during fermentation. Close the container tightly with a lid to prevent insects from crawling in or any debris from getting in, and leave it for 3-4 days at a temperature of 18-23 degrees. After the specified time, mix the wort thoroughly. Leave it for about 2 more weeks. Stir the wort every 2-3 days.

Before you begin removing the pulp from the wort, you must leave it alone for one day. Under the pressure of carbon dioxide, part of the wort will rise to the surface.

Place the pulp on a fine sieve or canvas bag and leave it over an empty container for several hours to allow the remaining juice to drain.

Pour all the juice into a jar of suitable size.

Place the juice under a water seal for further fermentation for 8-10 days.

Now is the time to begin the process of aerating the wine. To do this, during the next filtration, you need to hold the tube with the exiting stream approximately 5 cm above the jar. This will saturate the wine with oxygen.

This process is quite long and takes from two months or longer, depending on the conditions and characteristics of fermentation.
