Garlic 2 clove
Salt to taste
Water 300 ml
Sour cream 150 g
Tomato paste 2 tbsp
Carrot 1 pc
Vegetable oil 20 g
Dry spices to taste

How to make tomato sauce for cabbage rolls with sour cream? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Choose medium-sized onions and carrots. Sour cream can be of any fat content. The higher the fat content, the tastier and thicker the finished sauce.

Peel the onions and carrots and rinse them to remove dirt. Chop the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Heat a frying pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Add the prepared vegetables and fry them for 3-4 minutes, stirring so that they do not start to burn. During this time, the onions and carrots will become softer.

Add tomato paste and chopped garlic to the pan. You can simply chop it finely with a knife or pass it through a press. Fry for a couple more minutes.
