Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make mayonnaise sauce with garlic and lemon? Prepare your ingredients. Eggs are used raw, so it is better to take the freshest ones purchased from a trusted seller. Instead of whole eggs, you can use just yolks. The consistency of the sauce will be slightly thicker, the flavor will be richer, and the color will be creamier. Take absolutely odorless oil. A flavor, even one you really like in oil, can ruin the taste of mayonnaise. Adjust the amount of garlic to taste.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the garlic, wash it and pass it through a press or chop it very finely with a knife. Even if you are confident in the capabilities of your blender, it is better to do this in advance and not add large pieces to the sauce. Due to the fairly large amount of oil in the sauce, the garlic may not be easily crushed in a blender.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour vegetable oil, eggs and lemon juice into a blender bowl or deep bowl in which it will be convenient to beat.

Step 4

Step 4
Holding an immersion blender at the bottom of the bowl, blend until almost all of the mixture turns white.

Step 5

Step 5
Add a little salt and pepper, chopped garlic. Continue whisking the sauce until the mixture is fluffy and smooth.

Step 6

Step 6
Transfer the resulting sauce into a glass or ceramic container with a lid. You can use it immediately or store it in the refrigerator for no more than a week. From the specified amount of products, approximately 300 ml of sauce is obtained. This mayonnaise is great for dressing vegetable salads, as a sauce for fish, poultry and meat. I really love rye bread croutons with this mayonnaise. Bon appetit!
