Peel the carrots, wash them and grate them on a fine grater. For the recipe, choose juicy and sweet carrots, preferably young ones.

Mix the dough. Please note that the dough should not be tough! Therefore, watch the amount of flour you add — you may need less than indicated in the recipe. Let the dough rest a little under cling film.

Form the dough into medium-sized balls with wet hands and then press them down a little to form circles. Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. I greased the paper a little with butter and sprinkled it with flour to prevent the cookies from sticking.
