How to fry croutons from a loaf with egg and milk in a frying pan? Break the egg into a small bowl and mix it a little with a whisk.

Step 2

Step 2
Add a little milk to the egg and mix until smooth using a whisk.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the loaf into pieces approximately 1.5 centimeters thick. It is best to use yesterdayʼs loaf so that it is a little weathered.

Step 4

Step 4
Dip the loaf pieces into the milk mixture on both sides so that they are well soaked but not soggy.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and place the wet pieces of loaf. Fry them on one side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Step 6

Step 6
Then turn over and fry the other side in the same way. Croutons cook very quickly, so donʼt leave the stove and make sure they donʼt burn.

Step 7

Step 7
Place paper napkins on the prepared plate. Remove the finished croutons from the pan and place them on a prepared napkin to remove excess fat. Immediately sprinkle hot croutons with a small amount of sugar. Serve the finished croutons with a cup of hot tea. Bon appetit!
