Oven-Baked Stuffed Breakfast Loaf

A quick, easy, filling breakfast for the whole family! A loaf with filling in the oven turns out like a very large hot sandwich, only much juicier due to the larger amount of filling. Just like pizza, you can put any ingredients in it, whatever is in the refrigerator.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake a loaf with filling in the oven? Prepare your food. For the recipe, both a regular loaf and a small baguette, loaf, bun or ciabatta, like mine, are suitable. The same applies to the filling, take everything you have — sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, pickles, olives, peppers.

Step 2

Step 2
Immediately turn on the oven to preheat at 180°C. While you are making the filling, it will heat up to the desired temperature. Cut the ham (or any other sausage) into cubes.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the tomato, dry it and cut it into cubes. Donʼt crush it too much, keep the pieces large. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the chopped ham and tomatoes in a bowl and add the mozzarella balls. There is no need to cut them. Instead of mozzarella, you can take any other types of cheese, as long as they are natural and melt well. It will also be delicious to mix several types of cheese. They will also need to be cut into cubes. Add mayonnaise and ketchup to the products, salt and pepper the filling, but not too much, as it contains salty products.

Step 5

Step 5
Mix the ingredients, making sure that all ingredients are coated with sauces.

Step 6

Step 6
Cut off the top of the loaf and carefully cut out the flesh to make a boat-like shape. Place the crumb and lid on breadcrumbs.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the filling inside the loaf.

Step 8

Step 8
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place the stuffed loaf on it.

Step 9

Step 9
Bake the filled loaf in the oven for about 20 minutes, it should be browned and the cheese should be completely melted. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, transfer the loaf to a board or dish and serve, cutting into portions. Bon appetit!
