Trout 2 pc
Asparagus 400 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make fish in tandoor with vegetables? Prepare all the necessary products. I used trout in the recipe, but you can use any fish of your choice. If you have frozen trout, you should defrost it in advance. Use whatever vegetables you have on hand.

Step 2

Step 2
Clean the fish from scales, gut it and remove the heads and tails. Rinse the carcasses and dry with napkins. Peel the garlic and divide the broccoli into florets. Cut the asparagus 2-3 cm at the base to remove the thick, hard stems.

Step 3

Step 3
Rinse all vegetables, dry and place in a deep, comfortable bowl. Add your favorite spices to taste, salt and vegetable oil. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 4

Step 4
Make shallow cuts on the fish as in the photo. Salt the trout on all sides and inside, and sprinkle with dry spices. Using a silicone brush, brush the surface of the fish with a small amount of vegetable oil.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the carcasses and vegetables in a baking dish of suitable size. To bake such dishes in the tandoor, I make molds from foil folded in several layers.

Step 6

Step 6
Fire up the tandoor. Heat some wood.

Step 7

Step 7
When the walls of the tandoor are thoroughly warmed up and coals remain from the firewood, you can begin further cooking.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the plates with fish and vegetables on the grill.

Step 9

Step 9
Place the trout in the tandoor, cover with a lid and leave until done.

Step 10

Step 10
It took me about 30-40 minutes for all the ingredients to cook. Baking time depends on the tandoor model, amount of heat, etc. After 15 minutes of cooking, I swapped the plates so that the fish was baked evenly, since the heat is usually greater from below in the tandoor.

Step 11

Serve the fish hot.
