Garlic 1 clove
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Sour cream 180 g
Zucchini 700 g

How to stew zucchini in sour cream? Prepare the necessary products. You can replace olive oil with any vegetable oil. Any sour cream fat content will do.

Wash the zucchini and dry. If the zucchini is young, with tender skin, then you don’t have to peel it. If the vegetable is more mature, remove the seeds and peel the skin. Cut the zucchini into semicircles at least 0.5 cm thick. If the vegetable is large, then cut the circle into more pieces.

Peel the garlic and wash it. Grind the garlic on a fine grater or pass through a press. You can chop the garlic finely. If you want a more piquant taste, add garlic in the right amount.

Lightly heat the olive oil in a wide frying pan. Place the zucchini in the pan. Simmer the vegetables while stirring for 5-7 minutes. If young, juicy zucchini has released juice, then turn up the heat and simmer the zucchini with the lid open until the moisture evaporates. But watch the degree of readiness of the zucchini so that they do not lose their shape.

Place sour cream in a frying pan, add salt and ground black pepper. Stir gently. Cook over low heat, covering the pan with a lid, for about 5 minutes.

At the end of cooking, add garlic to the zucchini and stir. Simmer the zucchini for another 2 minutes and remove from the heat. Cooking time will depend on the ripeness of the zucchini. Younger ones will cook faster.
