Salt 0.5 tsp
Butter 20 g
Water 200 ml
Eggs 1 pc
Lavash thin 100 g

How to fry pita bread with an egg? Prepare all products. Wash the egg and dry it with a napkin. Place the egg in a bowl and beat it with a fork.

Using culinary scissors, cut circles from the pita bread to the size of your frying pan in which you plan to cook. You should get an even number of such blanks.

Add salt to a bowl of water and stir until it dissolves.

Place the frying pan on the stove and heat it up. Add a teaspoon of butter to the pan and melt it.

Dip two circles of pita bread completely into the prepared container with water for a couple of seconds. The circles will stick firmly to each other. This is what we need.

Place pita bread in a frying pan on hot oil. Set the heat on the stove to medium. Fry the pita bread on one side for about half a minute.

Turn the pita bread over to the other side.

Pour a tablespoon of water (the same one in which the pita bread was soaked) directly onto the pita bread in the frying pan. Be careful not to get burned by the steam!

Brush the pita with some of the egg mixture using a pastry brush. Or a tablespoon if you donʼt want to get your brush dirty.

Using a spatula, turn the pita bread over to the “egg” side down. Attention! You need a good frying pan to prevent the egg from burning.
