But in this case, you need to start cooking it much earlier than you plan to start preparing cookies; you need to cook for about 3-4 hours, depending on what color of condensed milk you want to get. After the milk is cooked, let it cool completely in the jar, then open it.

All food stored in the refrigerator must be removed in advance so that it is at room temperature. Cut the softened butter into cubes and place in a bowl.
