Quick & Easy Boiled Water Pizza Dough

Simple and quick dough for pizza and open pies. This amount of dough will make 1-2 large pizzas, depending on how thin the dough is rolled out. To make sure the salt dissolves, you can add it not to the flour, but dissolve it in boiling water and then pour salted water into the flour and knead the dough.

Olive oil 2 tbsp
Salt 0.5 tsp
Wheat flour 320 g
Water (boiling water) 200 ml
Eggs 2 pc

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. To prepare pizza dough in boiling water we will need: flour, boiling water, eggs, olive oil and salt.

Step 2

Step 2
Sift flour in a heap. Because Flour may differ in gluten percentage, moisture content, etc., then you may need more or less of it than in the recipe. Tip: sift a little more flour than needed, and start kneading with a little less, adding as needed as you go. Add salt to the sifted flour.

Step 3

Step 3
Make a well in the center and pour boiling water into it. Start kneading the dough. It is better to first knead with a whisk or spoon, but not with your hands, so as not to get burned. I make this in a stand mixer using a special dough hook attachment.

Step 4

Step 4
Add eggs and olive oil. Continue kneading the dough, adding flour little by little until it stops sticking to your hands. The finished dough should be elastic and hold its shape well when rolled out. If you are using a stand mixer, the dough will become sticky after adding the eggs and olive oil. Knead it in a mixer for some time. Then knead with your hands, adding flour.

Step 5

Step 5
The finished dough can be used immediately, or you can divide it into the required number of parts, wrap each in cling film and store in the refrigerator. This dough has one feature: if you roll it out not very thin, it will turn out soft when baked. If you want pizza with crispy dough, as I like, then roll it out as thin as possible and brush the edges with olive oil.
