Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make tomato sauce for barbecue? Simply and easily! Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Step 2

Step 2
Place the tomato paste in a deep bowl and mix with clean bottled or boiled chilled water. How much water should I take? Focus on ensuring that you end up with a paste with a delicate consistency similar to low-fat sour cream. I had a thick paste and needed one glass of water. The output was 500 ml. tomato sauce. If you have liquid tomato paste, then exclude water from the list of ingredients and increase the amount of paste to 500 ml.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the onion, wash and cut into small cubes. Pour vinegar into a small deep plate (I used 6%) and marinate the onions for 15-20 minutes. If you have 9% vinegar, you will need less of it or dilute it slightly with water.

Step 4

Step 4
At this time, work on other ingredients. Peel the garlic, rinse and grate on a fine grater. Alternatively, you can pass the teeth through a press. Rinse the greens thoroughly and dry with paper towels to remove any remaining water. Add tomato sauce, garlic and pickled onions to a blender bowl.

Step 5

Step 5
Salt everything to taste, add a pinch of sugar (to balance the taste) and ground black pepper.

Step 6

Step 6
Finely chop the cilantro and parsley and place in a blender with all other ingredients.

Step 7

Step 7
Beat everything until smooth.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the sauce in a small bowl and taste. If necessary, add a little more sugar and salt. Cover with a lid or cling film and place in the refrigerator to set for at least an hour.

Step 9

Step 9
The fragrant and most delicious tomato sauce is ready. Serve it up!
