How to make chocolate chip cookies? Prepare your food. Sift the flour and cocoa first; this will get rid of lumps and give the baked goods additional fluffiness and airiness. I used cane sugar, instead of vanilla sugar, vanillin. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance; it should become soft. Also remove the eggs and warm them in advance. They were not included in the photo because they were basking in warm water.

Place butter, sugar and salt in a bowl. Using a spatula or spoon, stir until smooth. You can use a mixer, but I decided to do it by hand with a silicone spatula. Everything worked out great for me.

Add cocoa to the butter mixture and stir again. Now it will be more difficult to stir, the mixture is quite dry, but the spatula did the job.

Add eggs. And stir again. At first it will seem that they will never mix with the main mass, but gradually the process will begin. I repeat that you can use a mixer.

The eggs should be completely mixed into the dough, it will become smooth and homogeneous.

Add baking powder to flour and stir. Start adding flour little by little. I divided the process into three stages. After each serving, stir in the flour thoroughly. The dough is ready. Place it in the freezer for 1 hour. Place it in the freezer, it should harden quickly. The dough will not have time to freeze into the stone, don’t be afraid. After time has passed, remove the dough from the freezer. Using a measuring spoon, scoop out equal amounts of dough and form it into balls the size of a walnut. Thatʼs why we needed to chill the dough — frozen dough is easier to roll into balls. Roll the balls in powdered sugar.

Line a baking sheet with baking parchment. Place the balls on it, making sure to leave space between them. The cookies will increase in size significantly during baking.
