How to make a cocktail salad with chicken and cucumber? As easy as pie! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can increase or decrease the quantity of any ingredient according to your taste.

Boil the chicken fillet in boiling salted water until tender, about 25 minutes. The exact cooking time depends on the size of the fillet. But keep in mind that long cooking makes the meat rubbery and less juicy. Cool the fillet and cut into small cubes.

Hard boil the eggs, cool and peel. Separate the whites from the yolks. Cut the whites into small cubes. Set the yolks aside.

Wash the cucumber and cut into small cubes. The peel, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off.

Wash the prunes, dry and cut into pieces. If the prunes are too hard and dry, you can pour boiling water over them and leave for 10 minutes.

Place chicken, prunes, cucumber, egg white, walnuts in layers of mayonnaise in the selected serving dish. If you wish, you can salt and pepper the layers, but I do not add spices to salads with mayonnaise. Sprinkle finely chopped yolks on top of the salad. It is better to rub the yolks directly onto the salad so that they do not wrinkle.
