Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad with pickles and sausage? Prepare your food. Boil the potatoes first. If there are potatoes left over from dinner, it’s okay — the salad won’t get any worse. My sausage is semi-smoked, but it will be delicious with ham and carbonated meat. Take any vegetable oil whose taste you like. I took red salad onions, you can also use regular onions. I have it small, but if the onion is large, take half.

Step 2

Step 2
Prepare salad dressing. How to make a dressing? Immediately take the bowl in which you will prepare the salad. Peel the salad onion and finely chop it. Pour wine vinegar over it. Stir, lightly mashing the onion with a spoon. Wash the parsley, dry it and chop it finely. Add chopped parsley to the onion, add grain mustard and pour in vegetable oil. Mix the dressing well.

Step 3

Step 3
Boil the potatoes. How to boil jacket potatoes? Place clean tubers in a pan of cold water and cook over high heat. After boiling, turn the heat to low. Cook the potatoes for about 25 minutes at a low simmer. Check readiness with a sharp knife — it should pierce the tubers freely. Drain the water, carefully peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Add it to the dressing.

Step 4

Step 4
Toss the potatoes with the dressing and let cool in the salad bowl. This is done so that the potatoes are saturated with the sauce and become more flavorful. Cut off the ends of pickled cucumbers. Slice the cucumbers the same way you would slice the potatoes. Add sliced cucumbers to salad.

Step 5

Step 5
Free the sausage from the film and cut it in the same way — into cubes. Add chopped sausage to salad.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. If desired, you can add ground black pepper and salt to the salad, although for me there is enough salt in the salad from sausage and cucumbers. Serve the salad after chilling in the refrigerator for about an hour. Bon appetit!
