Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make king prawn salad? Very simple. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can replace king prawns with any other type of shrimp to taste, and also add other seafood, such as mussels, squid, etc. You can use regular or cherry tomatoes. I have cherry tomatoes — the salad turns out more beautiful with them. You can add or replace the vegetable part to your liking.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut cherry tomatoes into halves. If you have a regular tomato, then cut it into slices. You need dense tomatoes. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife or pass it through a press.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the parsley, dry and finely chop. You can replace parsley with dill or other herbs to taste.

Step 5

Step 5
Place chopped tomatoes, garlic and parsley in a bowl. Salt, pepper and sprinkle with a pinch of sugar. Stir. Leave to marinate.

Step 6

Step 6
You can take a ready-made store-bought mixture of lettuce leaves or make your own from the greens you have. I have a French salad mix (arugula, chard, corn, spinach). A very tasty combination.

Step 7

Step 7
Remove the head and shell from the shrimp. Make an incision on the back and remove the dark vein. Rinse the shrimp again and dry. If the shrimp are frozen, defrost them first on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Lightly salt and pepper the shrimp.

Step 8

Step 8
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and fry for 1 minute on each side. Remove the pan from the heat and let the shrimp cool. You can use any vegetable oil for frying. I have olive.

Step 9

Step 9
Add the shrimp to the bowl with the tomatoes along with the oil in which they were fried. The oil, mixed with tomato juice, will also serve as a salad dressing. Mix everything.

Step 10

Step 10
Add the lettuce mixture and stir gently. Serve the salad immediately. Bon appetit!
