Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad of tomatoes, cheese and garlic so that it turns out tasty, satisfying and non-trivial? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take any tomatoes, it doesn’t affect the taste in any way, I took cherry tomatoes (because they look prettier in a salad). Cheese — any soft one. I have cottage cheese without additives. You can also use processed cheese, goat cheese, feta, etc.

Step 2

Step 2
Toast sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until light golden brown.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. If the tomatoes are regular, cut them into slices.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash lettuce leaves and other greens and dry. I used a ready-made Tuscany mixture (arugula, radiccio, romano, frisse). But any other mixture of lettuce leaves or just lettuce, Chinese cabbage will go here. I also added a couple of chopped sprigs of curly parsley and dill. You can add your own herbs to taste, such as basil, wild garlic, green onions, etc.

Step 5

Step 5
Boil the egg soft-boiled (2-3 minutes) or in a bag (5-6 minutes), cool, peel and cut into slices. You can hard-boil an egg, but it tastes better with a semi-liquid yolk. If you wish, you can remove the egg completely.

Step 6

Step 6
Now prepare the dressing. You can replace or supplement these ingredients to taste. For example, add 1 tsp. wine, balsamic or apple cider vinegar, honey. Replace olive oil with another vegetable oil.

Step 7

Step 7
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, pressed garlic, salt and pepper. Beat everything until smooth.

Step 8

Step 8
Place herbs, tomato halves, and boiled egg slices on a plate. Place small quenelles of cottage cheese or other soft cheese on top.

Step 9

Step 9
Pour the dressing over the salad and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately. Bon appetit!
