Festive New Year’s Salad Recipe

A bright salad will decorate your New Yearʼs table! Delicious, bright and beautiful salad. If you donʼt have pickled mushrooms in stock, use pickled cucumbers — they will also work great. Instead of canned tuna, you can use other canned fish, it will be just as tasty.

Ingredients (8 portions)

Basic:

Onion 0.5 pc
Eggs 2 pc
Potato 2 pc
Beet 1 pc
Mayonnaise 3 tbsp
Marinated mushrooms 100 g
Pomegranate (grains for decoration) to taste
Tuna canned 185 g

Recipe instructions

Ingredients. Boil beets, potatoes and eggs in advance, cool and peel.

Grate the eggs on a fine grater (set aside 1 yolk for decoration), also grate the beets (squeeze out the juice, but do not pour out) and potatoes. Cut the mushrooms into slices, the onion into small cubes. Mix onions and mushrooms.

Lay out the salad in layers, each layer should be made a little smaller than the previous one, forming a hemisphere. Layer 1 — potatoes and mayonnaise.

Layer 2 — tuna (mashed with a fork).

Layer 3 — mushrooms with onions and mayonnaise.

In 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise add 1 tsp. beet juice, mix thoroughly.

Cover the surface of the salad with beet mayonnaise.

Sprinkle the surface of the salad with grated yolk and decorate with pomegranate seeds. If desired, we make a hook out of foil, like in a real ball. Bon appetit!
