Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad of cabbage, cucumber and bell pepper? Prepare all the necessary products. It is better to take young cabbage. It has juicy, crispy leaves, which is undoubtedly ideal for vegetable salads.

Step 2

Step 2
Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage. Rinse the head of cabbage and dry it. Chop the cabbage into thin strips. Place in a deep, comfortable salad bowl.

Step 3

Step 3
Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and add a pinch of salt to the salad bowl. Crush the cabbage with your hands so that it releases its juice. Instead of lemon, it is permissible to use vinegar 5% or 6% to taste.

Step 4

Step 4
Rinse the bell pepper in clean water. Remove the core and seeds. Cut the pepper into thin strips or half circles, as you prefer. To brighten the finished salad, I recommend using fruits of different colors. The finished dish will look beautiful and appetizing if, for example, you use half a yellow and a red pepper. Add to cabbage.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash the cucumber and dry it. If the cucumber has a rough peel, it should be cut off. Cut the vegetable into thin slices or semicircles and add to all other ingredients. Finely chop the greens. Dill and parsley are good for salad. If you have green young onions available, be sure to use them. Add greens to your salad. Salt and pepper everything to taste. Drizzle with vegetable or olive oil.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix everything thoroughly and taste for salt, adding salt if necessary. Let the salad sit for 10-15 minutes and serve!
