An interesting variation of a well-known dish. Try to diversify your holiday menu by preparing Olivier Salad with Shrimp. The shrimp are not too noticeable in the salad, but they add unusual interesting shades to the overall taste of a familiar dish.

Eggs (boiled) 3 pc
Potato (large or 3 medium) 2 pc
Carrot (large) 1 pc
Mayonnaise 50 g
cucumbers (large) 1 pc
Green pea (canned) 100 g
Shrimps (boiled peeled) 200 g

How to make Olivier salad with shrimp? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take large vegetables. Boil the shrimp in salted water in advance. The shrimp in the salad are weak, as they are overwhelmed by the taste of other products and mayonnaise. If you want a more pronounced taste of shrimp, add more. You can make your own mayonnaise. You will find recipes for homemade mayonnaise after the last step.

Wash the potatoes and carrots thoroughly, preferably with a brush, to remove all dirt from the skins. Boil the vegetables in their jackets, peel them and cut them into cubes.

Boil the eggs hard. Read about how to do this correctly in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe. Cool the boiled eggs, peel them and cut them into cubes.

Wash the cucumber and also cut it into cubes. Olivier usually contains pickled or pickled cucumbers, but I don’t like the combination of pickled cucumbers and shrimp, so I replaced canned cucumbers with fresh ones. You can use any cucumbers you like. Drain the jar of peas.

Place chopped potatoes, carrots, cucumber, eggs in a salad bowl, add peas and boiled shrimp.

Add mayonnaise to the rest of the ingredients.
