Layered Salmon and Potato Salad with Eggs and Cucumber

Beautiful, tasty and elegant for a holiday for your loved ones! Salad with salmon, egg, caviar, potatoes and cucumber in layers. Everyone really liked it. The combination of products turned out to be very successful. You can take different cucumbers, fresh pickled and lightly salted. Sometimes I add dill to taste.

Basic:

Eggs 2 pc
Potato 1 pc
Carrot 1 pc
Mayonnaise 70 g
cucumbers 5 pc
Salmon 200 g

Decoration:

Mayonnaise 20 g
Red caviar 100 g

How to make a salad with salmon, eggs, potatoes and cucumber in layers? Prepare your ingredients. For the salad we will need: lightly salted salmon (I used smoked salmon), potatoes, carrots, pickled gherkins, eggs and mayonnaise. For decoration: red caviar and mayonnaise.

Cut the salmon into small cubes.

Boil the eggs hard. Drain the water, peel the eggs and grate them on a coarse grater.

Boil potatoes and carrots in their skins until tender. Cool and peel the vegetables. Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater.

Exactly the same, grate the carrots into a separate bowl.

Remove the gherkins from the brine and dry. Grate on a coarse grater and squeeze out excess moisture.

Form the salad in a culinary ring, carefully compacting each layer and coating with mayonnaise. Place the gherkins as the first layer. Lubricate the cucumbers with mayonnaise.

Place grated carrots on mayonnaise. Lubricate it with mayonnaise as well.

Next add the grated potatoes. I coated it with a very thin layer of mayonnaise. You don’t have to lubricate it at all, since the next layer is fatty salmon.

I also didn’t coat the salmon layer with mayonnaise, as it already turns out greasy.

Place eggs on salmon.

Cover the salad with cling film and place in the refrigerator overnight to soak.

The next day, turn the salad over onto a serving plate so that the layer of gherkins is on top. Garnish the salad with drops of mayonnaise and red caviar.
